Ledóchowski's netting, because of its purpose, is included in the group of technical nets. The product is not made from wire, but from a sheet of metal that is suitably incised and stretched. The result is an openwork structure with a three-dimensional surface. The advantage that distinguishes Ledóchowski's technical nets is the economy of material. This is due to the fact that no loss of material occurs during production. Because of this and the manufacturing method, they are also cheap technical nets. The main purpose of such products is to reinforce plaster, but Ledóchowski netting can also be used for other purposes. It is used to create decorations for facades, ventilation systems for buildings, fill steel frames for balustrades, build elements of small garden architecture, and it is also used in the form of filters and as a beekeeping net.
